Portable charger how to use

You are going to need to keep your devices charged when you need them the most. You keep your charge chord nearby. You keep it in your car or in your workspace. However, you can’t always access an outlet to plug up the plug part of your device for it to work. Your laptop might not have enough juice to charge up your device either. This is where a portable charger comes in handy. But do you know how to use one properly? It looks easy, but there is so much care that goes into making sure your charger works for a long time.

How do you use a portable charger the right way? That question is the easy part. You take your device, let’s say a smartphone in this case, and plug it into the charger. That’s all that you have to do. You have to use your chord to make this work. Let it charge to the percentage that you need. Your portable charge will work with small devices like phones, tablets, and iPods. Bigger devices like your laptop might be pushing it. I would only recommend you charge your laptop with a portable charger if you really need to.

Here’s where it becomes a little more challenging. You have to take good care of your charger if you want to keep it working for years to come. Do not overcharge your charger. This will drain away life, leaving it useless. When that happens, you are going to need to buy yourself another charger. They might not cost much, but isn’t it better if you first one working when you need it the most? When your device is finished charging, unplug it as soon as you can. When you are not using your charger, you have to put it away until the next use. What if you are a first-time user? Sure, it is tempting to take the portable charger out of the box and start using it. However, it is never that easy. Sure, it is true that a good number of chargers do come precharged. However, you still can’t rush in and start using it. First of all, those chargers that come precharger usually go up to seventy-five percent. If you are not careful, you could end up using up the juice in the charger in a short time. You have to read the directions before you can get started. That might not be enjoyable, but it will save you so much of a headache in the end. After reading the directions, you will know how to use your charger properly for the first time.

Next, you are going to have to keep your charger charged. That’s right, you have to charge your charger too. That in itself is easy. You just have to plug it into an outlet and let it charge. Now, here comes the hardest part. You can’t leave it plugged in too long. You will end up draining the life out of it. So how long should you leave it plugged in? That depends on the size of the charger. The smaller ones do not take that much time to charge. Larger ones take a little more time. You just need to press down on the button in the back to check the lights. If you see all four lights come on, you are ready to unplug your charger and use it when you need it most.

Are there any more things that you have to do to take care of the portable charger? First, do not leave your portable charger in high heat. That will cause damage to it and leave it not able to work properly. So, do not leave your charger in your car on a hot day. Do not let your charge or your devices hit twenty percent. You risk draining the life out of both. Do not cover up your portable charger when in use. You will create a fire hazard when you do that. That is the last thing you want to do. There are also times when you don’t need to use the charger. Still, you are going to have to make sure that it works properly. Plug it in and charger every two to three months. Think of it as doing maintenance on your tech products. It may be annoying to do, but you have to do it just to make sure everything works. If you are still running into problems with your charger, go online to the brand website to do troubleshooting.
